Great video and an even better lesson. I know that you're a huge Rob Bell fan so could you do some research for me and let me know how you get the job of creating the "mood music" for his videos?
Dude, sweet message. I realized earlier this year that I had begun finding my identity out of what I do and the ministry that I work for, not from my union with Christ.
I have learned that life will never be what Jesus promised it to be if I'm not living dependent on Him and resting in His Name instead of my own, what I do, or how I compare with others.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. There's just something about THAT Name...
Our community with one another consists solely of what Christ has done to both of us. I have community with others and I shall continue to have community only through Jesus Christ. The more genuine and the deeper our community becomes, the more will everything else between us recede, the more clearly and purely will Jesus Christ and His work become the one and only thing that is vital between us.
Christian community is not an ideal which we must realize; it is rather a reality created by God in Christ in which we may participate.
